See How They Run : Huge Maps

Please read these warnings
	Most maps on the web are in small parts - you can only look at one part at a time, and downloading the whole map takes a lot of mouse-clicking. So I designed these links to display the whole map with a single click. These may take hours to download, so doing this when telephone costs are lower is a good idea. Although the HTML files are on this site, the images are inlined directly from the image owners' sites, so downloading will be faster when the image owner's country is asleep (see timezone info).
	Old versions of MSIE were able to load HTML files which contain thousands of large images, but the later versions have a tendency to download some images and then stop. If this happens, hit the 'Back' button and then the 'Forward' button - this will cause Internet Explorer to download the rest of the map.
	A large swapfile and a large internet cache are recommended for most of these.
	If you use a browser which stores cached files with correct filenames (i.e. not Netscape), then you can copy the cached files to a separate directory so that you will not lose them if your cache is cleared. To view them when they are in the local directory, copy the "local reference file" to that directory and then view it in any browser (including Netscape).
	To quickly view a small part of a map, go straight to the image owner's site.
	None of the sites currently contain advertising on their map pages, so I am not depriving anyone of any revenue by inlining their images
