So, Paul's being slack and I'm bored off my tits and I woke up early and
I'm grumpy and a bit hyper and I can't physically do any work because
Mailbox has gone tits up and my phone has gone tits up and basically
everything is tits up. Which isn't such a bad thing when you come to
think about it. Fnnaar fnarr.

*cough*

So I'm doing the summary. For Paul. Yes, it's late. Deal.

And in fact, as a novelty theme I think I might do it entirely from my
perspective. Muhahahahahahahh. And mostly because I'm totally ill
equipped to do the summary because I skim read most of last week 'cos I
was busy. So I might as well do it for the bits I was actually involved
with.

Or something.

...

Those still with me raise there hands. Slowly. No sudden movements. Like
I said I'm wired and liable to ... do something. I don't know. Do you
honestly expect me to come up with all the answers?

Anyway. Slow week. Mostly content free from what I remember. 293 mails
in about 690k. And only 15 from me. Christ. Tis a slow week. 61 posters
not including name changing.

Mmmmmmm, stats. More stat porn courtesy of jwz at the bottom of this
mail.

I posted about Nathan's Hot Dogs in Coney Island and some japanese dude.
Everyone ignored me. I went home and cried myself to sleep and then made
voodoo dolls of each and everyone of you. Revenge will be mine. Oh yes.
I
can almost taste it. And it's tastes ... well kind of tangy really but a
bit like Swiss Chard at the same time.

And then, predictably, I posted about games. twice. Whoda thunk. It's
not like I'm utterly predictable or anything. No sireee. I also bought
up managa, anime, Bemani, the difficulty settings in games and Japanese
sex. Despite the wealth of topics to choose from everyone ignored me and
I went home via the diving shop and bought the largest knife I could get
my hands on. If it works on sharks then it'll work on you mother
fuckers. Oh yes. You'll feel the cold steel and it slides flat between
your 3rd and 4th ribs. Hah haha haha. Rubber handle so you don't lose
your grip when the BLOOD REALLY STARTS TO FLOW! Laugh at me at school
will you. Because I looked funny. and smelt of cabbage. Not laughing now
ARE YOU? Go on. Cry. See if I care. Mummy never cared when I cried so
why should I care now.

And Harrier Jump Jets. Ashley got it wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong
wrong. And I corrected him. But nobody cared. But Ashley's Ok because
he's going to kill his french housemates. Just like I killed that French
hitchhiker. No one missed him. No one found the body. Maybe Ashley and I
can compare notes. Maybe. Maybe he'll be my friend and we can butcher
tramps togther. I'd like a friend. That would be nice.

Then I sent a link. To a Flash movie. About a cow. Who was scared and
alone and a little bit different. And nobody replied. AGAIN. Couldn't
you see that it was a cry for help? COULDN'T YOU? It's your fault
they're dead you know. Not mine. I told them that it was your fault but
they kept asking me to spare their lives. But you wouldn't let them
live. You horrible horrible people. GET OUT OF MY HEAD! AAAAAARGH!

Some of you replied to my post about UI's and CD ordering. But just to
CONTRADICT me. Always. Always contradicting. Always. [rock rock rock
grind teeth smack forhead against the bars of my cot]

Then Chris Devers got it wrong about nu meeja hors in his FAQ. And he
ignored me when I mailed him off list. So I tried to to run him down but
I got the wrong person instead. Damn.

People hassled me about the t-shirts. They won't hassle me anymore. Oh
no.

I talked about being a misogynist shite oop north. And about nuking
Doncaster. Thousands of people dieing a firey, horrible death and plenty
more stumbling half blind and mangled round the smouldering wreckage
whilst I laugh in my mountain base surrounded by a bevvy of buxom,
willing maidens who actually like greasy spots and damp hair and think
it's cute when you stutter and talk about trains and numbers and
stardates and think that dressing up as a Klingon is DEAD SEXY and makes
somebody really macho and good in bed.

And they probably think knowing lots of stuff about the Dreamcast and
being obsessed about it is really cool too. Much cooler than knowing
stuff about philosophy and art and music and stuff. Much.

Oh and ...

"Total Lines" does not count attachments, only the main body of the
message. Messages which contain only attachments count as 0 lines.

"Original lines" are the subset of "Total Lines" that are not

"Noise" is the other part -- the quoted material.

This script doesn't do anything clever with HTML, so the stats will
be off for HTML messages (no detection of quoted material, and
    bloated line counts.)
