Joi Ito on RSS and RDF

blech: 'The problem with RDF is that it is so ugly to read. Honestly, this morning I wouldn't understand what I have just written.'

blech: via Ben Hammersley

blech: I suspect he actually means XML-serialised RDF is ugly. Could be wrong.

danbri: re RDF "ugly", I've just written http://esw.w3.org/topic/RestaurantsVersusTheirReviews and one observation is that sometimes when we try to use RSS/RDF instead of plain generic RDF, we get tricked into writing ugly looking markup. So maybe it's RSS that's ugly? ;)
