milk, two sugars

I'm Paul Mison. I've been a paid to do web development for a decade, after getting access to the Internet in 1994.

Since 1996 I've been a Macintosh user, first by compulsion, but since strongly by choice. I use Linux for the always-on server stuff around the edges, and Windows only when I'm forced to. I have the usual constellation of gadgets, too. I had an Ixus for ages, but I've started using a big grown up digital camera now, which I'm enjoying so much that it counts as my hobby.

Despite being brought up in a small town in the middle of rural East Anglia, I've settled in London. I enjoy it here, generally, although of course it wears you down too. More specifically, I live in North London, with my wife, our books, and somewhat too much extraneous stuff.
